Hey and welcome to today's podcast. Now today I want to talk about Certainty, because it's something that I speak about myself, and you may hear a lot from other people as well, and how it's an inside job. So I want to talk more about this, and how it actually relates to creating the results that you want. Particularly in times of uncertainty, which we are in at the moment, and we will be in again. It's more important than ever that you really grasp this concept. during those times. Now external uncertainty, what it really does is test your inner certainty. It's almost like this opportunity to have reflected back at you what it is that you need to work on. So let's dive on into that and how you can begin to notice if there's any uncertainty within you and then what needs to shift to create that certainty. So starting from the beginning, it all starts with having a goal. So there's something that you want to create that you currently don't have. Now when it comes to goals, the goals that really stand the test of time are the ones that have a big why behind them. They're the ones that have the reason to keep going, because without that why, it's easy to give up. The why, it gives you the, the drive during those times where things maybe aren't easy, where maybe things aren't going as planned. So, the why, behind your goal. The reason for having the goal in the first place is the most important thing. What the goal itself gives you is focus. It gives you a target to aim towards. And in fact, that's really important. Your goals should be towards something. They should be focused on what it is that you want. What many people do is set goals that are almost like avoiding or getting away from the thing that they don't want. It's like, there's this thing in my life, I don't want it, so I'm going to actively work to get away from the thing that I don't want. And then the thing with that is that's where the focus is. The focus is on it. And that thing doesn't feel good. That's the reason that you want to get away from it in the first place. So the life that you don't want to have, that isn't a compelling why. And as soon as you get far enough away from it, as soon as it becomes less painful, that drive is gonna wear off. So it's important that your goal is focused fully towards and driven by something that's exciting, something that lights you up, something that has enthusiasm, something that has passion behind it, something that you actually want to reach. So you've got your goal, you know your why, and your why is something that's so much bigger than just the next milestone or the next achievement. There's like, there's some real passion and drive behind it. Then we're on to the how. So how on earth do I get there? Here I am, and here is where I want to be. And this is where so many people get stuck. Get stuck in wanting to know what is the roadmap? What's the strategy? What's the step by step formula that is going to guarantee my results? Here's the thing. Wanting to know the how is seeking certainty. Wanting to know what it is that you need to do, the exact steps to get there, puts it in this fixed frame of mind that this is how it has to happen. And. You can have every formula on the planet. None of them are going to give you that certainty, because certainty doesn't come from without, it comes from within. If you have that certainty within yourself, that 100 percent belief, then you wouldn't need that external circumstance, that external validation that this is the way it's going to happen, this is the way to do it. So the way to check in on your certainty, to see if there's something that you need to work on, is to ask yourself, this goal that I have. This thing that I want to create, this thing I want to achieve, do I believe that it is going to happen, regardless of any external circumstances? So no matter what's happening in the economy, no matter what other people say, what time of year it is, how old I am, the strategy, the marketing plan that I choose to adopt, do I believe that I can and I will achieve it anyway? 100%. Now, anything less than a congruent yes. Is a no. And a no is simply a limiting belief. And we all know this, right? Because there is someone doing the very thing that somebody else is saying isn't possible. And the difference about it is their belief. Now, something that's important to mention here is that having that belief doesn't mean that you won't have to adapt along the way. It doesn't mean that the very first plan that you make, the very first step that you take, is going to be the step. In fact, the more that you can let go of that, the better. Because having that fixed frame of mind that this is the way it has to be limits your options. And if that thing doesn't work, then it's almost telling your unconscious mind that there is no other way. And therefore, I'm not certain within myself, I'm relying on that external factor working. And if it doesn't, well then, I don't know where to go from there. So that inner certainty is the belief in you. Now, the thing about your mind is that it looks to create what you believe to be true. Your perception of reality will literally shift to fit your internal world. Now, the minute you create an external condition, so for example, as long as X happens, then I know that I can do it. As long as this thing takes place, then that will happen. The minute you do that, all bets are off, because what you can't control are the things outside of you. The only thing that you can change is your belief about your ability in X. Any circumstances.. So instead of focusing on fixing the outer world to suit your inner reality, why not change your inner reality so that the outer world shifts to you, to fit in with what is going to get you to where you actually want to be, to become the person that you need to be in order to achieve the life that you want to have. Now the good news is, limiting beliefs are not real. What they are is feedback that something needs to change so that you can achieve your goals. And there are many tools that will enable you to do that quickly. Now if you want to find out how I do it using NLP, timeline therapy, hypnotherapy, head to the link in the show notes where there's a free masterclass so you can discover just that. You can absolutely have everything you desire and anything that you're not experiencing right now or you're not on your way to creating is simply an indication of a limitation in your thinking about it. And that, my friend, You can change. So I hope you found this useful. Hope you found it helpful. Maybe had an aha moment. Maybe there's something less than 100 percent certainty within, thank your unconscious mind for bringing it to your attention and then decide what action you will take to resolve it. Whether that's working with me, working with somebody else, however you choose to resolve it is up to you. So I encourage you to take some time to check in with yourself. This thing that I want to have, this goal that I want to create, this, this life experience that I want to manifest into my world, do I believe, do I know that I can make it happen, that it is going to happen regardless of anything outside of me? And if not, use that as the opportunity, use that as the information for what it is that you need to work on. That is the blessing. That is the message from your conscious mind saying, here's the thing. So rather than Pushing it away and pretending it doesn't exist. Invite that into your experience is the very thing that is going to help you to get to the other side of the life that you really want to create. Anyway, hope you find this useful. Have a good day. I'll see you next time.
